Why

Twin car bombs carried out by the Western-backed so-called “rebels”
have killed dozens of civilians in a Christian-Druze neighborhood in
Damascus, highlighting the sectarian extremism, not “democratic”
aspirations, as well as the level of depravity, driving opponents of the
Syrian government. Immediately after the explosions, and as casualty
figures began trickling in, Associated Press (AP) attempted to spin and
downplay the act of terrorism, claiming in its report, “Twin car bombs kill 20 in Syria, hospitals say,” that:
“Syrian hospital officials say twin car bombs have killed at least 20 people in a Damascus suburb that is mostly loyal to President Bashar Assad.”
Excusing egregious acts of terrorism aimed at Syria’s civilian
population by claiming those targeted were “mostly loyal to President
Bashar Assad” has been a favorite tactic of AP, BBC, CNN, Fox News, and
others. In reality, the vast majority of Syrians, from Christians to
Druze, from Shia’a Muslims to moderate Sunnis, are targets of the
sectarian extremist, Saudi-Wahhabi indoctrinated terrorists the US,
Israel, and Saudi Arabia have been funding, arming, importing from across the region, and arraying against the people of Syria since at least 2007.

This week when sweeping outages in Syria's communication networks were reported, the Western media immediately accused the Syrian government of being behind the move. However, it should be noted that NATO-backed terrorists operating inside of Syria have been openly given advanced communication equipment (also here and here) by Western nations, including the United States, allowing militants to create their own, independent communication networks. This includes radio, satellite, and cell networks, as well as the under-reported existence of "suitcase Internet" (also here and here).
The reason a communications blackout in Syria would not affect NATO's primary proxy forces is because any node or bottleneck in Syria controlled by the government has already long since been circumvented, either through independent networks, or satellite links.

Israel
plans to build some 3,000 new housing units in East Jerusalem and West
Bank settlements in response to the Palestinians’ successful bid for
recognition at the UN General Assembly this week, a senior diplomatic
source told Haaretz on Friday.
According
to the source, Israel also plans to advance long-frozen plans for the
E1 area, which covers an area that links the city of Jerusalem with the
settlement of Ma’aleh Adumim.
If
built, the controversial plan would prevent territorial contiguity
between the northern and southern West Bank, making it difficult for a
future Palestinian state to function.
Other
reports from Israel and also some analysis of the fighting by
American experts reveal that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
appears to have considered his country’s ability to intercept
many rockets from Gaza as a sign that Iranian missiles, should he
choose to attack that country, can be similarly defended against,
bolstering his government’s absurd claims
that a war with Iran would not kill more than 500 Israelis. The
Israeli government has insisted that between 84% and 90% of incoming
rockets from Gaza were intercepted, but a Ministry of Defense account
on November 21 says otherwise: “Since the beginning of Operation Pillar of
Defense, the army says that 1,382 rockets fired from Gaza have struck
Israel, with another 389 intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile
system. Of that number, 138 rockets hit Israel on Tuesday, killing
the two Israelis. Another 51 were intercepted by Iron Dome, the
military said.” Other estimates suggest the 70% of Gazan
missiles and rockets landed in Israel without being intercepted.
